I am retired, a wanna-be writer, a die-hard creator, an appreciator of good art and a committed volunteer. I drive a red corvette, love to cook, sew, knit  and collect  good bourbon. My occasional (whenever the spirit moves me) musings on this blog will no doubt reflect my love for these and other interests, as well as life in general.

I am married to a great guy, have three children, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  I grew up in the country, which explains why being outside in the fresh air anyplace in the world is so important to me. I'm thinking I would have made a wonderful rich person with my love of travel, but evidently God didn't see it that way...I remain humbly middle-American.
