About Me

I am retired from the corporate world and am finally doing all the stuff that I never had time for in my previous life. I design and sew clothing, knit, cook and eat, and take photographs.

I collaborate with Suzan Steinberg and her team at Stonemountain and Daughter Fabrics in Berkeley, California. We have being working up garment designs from Independent Pattern makers all over the world in Stoenmountain's fabulous fabrics for over 2 two years. I work with FabricLady blog to post about our work together, featuring tutorials, sewing hints and fabric/pattern ideas.

My occasional (whenever the spirit moves me) musings on this blog will no doubt reflect my love for these and other interests, as well as life in general.
Colette, my mini-me.

I am married to a great guy, have three children and 9 grandchildren. I love my friends, both in and out of the blogging world.  I grew up in the country, which explains why being outside in the fresh air anyplace in the world is so important to me. I'm thinking I would have made a wonderful rich person with my love of travel, but evidently God didn't see it that way...I remain humbly middle-American.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. Leave a comment...I so enjoy seeing what you are all about too!
